Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Low Voltage Installer to join our team in Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, termination, and testing of low voltage cabling and systems in commercial environments. This includes systems such as structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6), Fiber (SM/MM), and CCTV.

Responsibilities

  • Install, terminate, label, and test low voltage cables (Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, fiber optic, etc.)
  • Install and configure low voltage systems including:
    • Paging Systems
    • CCTV surveillance systems
  • Install networking racks, panels, cameras, and other hardware securely
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
  • Troubleshoot and repair installed systems as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients
  • Ensure all work meets local codes, standards, and company quality expectations

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in low voltage installation or related field
  • Working knowledge of low voltage systems and cabling
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Georgia Low Voltage License (Class LVU, LVA, or LVT) — or willingness to obtain
    • OSHA 10 or 30 certification
    • Experience with BICSI standards
    • Manufacturer certifications (e.g., Hubbell, Leviton, Panduit)
